I have been looking forward to this release for too long! I don't acually own this box set addition but own the 5 individual packaged DVDs that are included in this set.
The Live action Mr Bean shows Rowan Atkinson at his best and includes all of the original classic episodes. I've watched them over and over again and still laugh so much that it hurts.
In addition to the original episodes you get the library scene, the extra Turkey scene in the Christmas episode, the 2007 comic relief sketch and several episodes from the animated series.
The only disapointment is that it doesn't feature the other classic comic relief sketches such as the blind date one and the ice skating sketch. Nor does it include the Mr Bean documentary or the Best Bits episode.
But puttig these aspects aside, this DVD boxset is a must have!

Mr. Bean5
A hilarious series which neatly juxtaposes with Rowan Atkinson's other masterpiece 'Blackadder' as that focused on clever verbal situations, whereas Bean concentrates more on the physical aspect. Mr. Bean himself is a mute version of Prince Edmund from the first series of 'Blackadder.' Bean may appear stupid however he shows some signs of inventiveness.

My personal favourite Bean episode is the Christmas one as the choir scenes and the turkey scenes still has the viewer in stiches even though they have seen them numerous times before. The DIY one is a close second as Mr. Bean finds a ingenious way of getting from the store to his house by riding on the top of his Mini. I have not got the DVD itself so I cannot comment on it however there are some Bean episodes from the inferior animated series.
