TOMB RAIDER 3605
I have been a fan of Tomb Raider for years although I never really thought the original was that good due to the bad controls and camera and then playing the Gamecube TR:Legend which I thought was one of the best TR games around, and this is just like it in every aspect. The controls are excellent and feel good, the camera angles are very good and the graphics are very good. I think the gameplay is excellent, there is loads of puzzles to do and items to find and enemies to kill. Different levels of difficulty also make the game very intersting too. This has got to be in my opinion one of the best tomb raiders around, and this is the first tomb raider modified for the 360 with new stuff in it.

Tomb Raider Anniversary5
As you may or may not know i have been a huge fan of Lara
Croft and the Tomb Raider games since the first one.. i was
looking forward to this latest addition, even more so as i now
have an XBox 360..

The graphics, as usual, are amazing.. it more than lives up to
my expectations..

The game play is also amazing.. its like a combination of all the
other Tomb Raider games rolled into one.. There are loads of
puzzles to solve, most are really tricky..

On the whole its a must have for all Tomb Raider fans.. even
for those who aren't the game provides a lot of fun, action,
skill and excitement..

Could of been so much better!2
Lara Croft and tomb raider on the PS1 was what got me into video games in a big way. They were simply the best games ever. Legend was good but after so many years out of the arena should of been so much better and I felt let the franchise down a little, although still a playable game.
This anniversary version is like a digitally enhanced remake of the old tomb raider. The problem is it doesnt quite work. Dodgy camera angles, poor physics on occasions and some really crap game play at times let this down. Killing enemies is made far too easy by jumping onto something where they cant reach you and then end of level bosses are stupidly difficult to beat, there is no balance. The music score on the originals was awesome and gave you a real feeling of been a huge environment this is just boring which is very much like the whole game! When you look at the likes of assasin creed, GOW etc and see such graphics and game physics and invention and then the cheap pile of recycled ideas that has gone into this game its such a shame because Tomb Raider was once the daddy of all games. The only redeeming feature is the cheap price!
