acoustic indie??
What is indie anyway, I'm not sure I know?
This is a compilation of various artists whom I've generally heard through listening to fairly mainstream pop radio stations and the drift is that these are more acoustic versions of their stuff. With me so far?
Well, me being an oldie with a fairly eclectic taste I can't say I would otherwise want to buy CDs of these artists cos I can hear them often enough on Radio 2. But this compilation of alternative versions of fairly familiar contemporary ditties suits me fine and in any case some of these tracks have gone on to my own mixes - you know - the sort you put on in the backgound when you company round.
