These Are Great and they ARE ORIGINALS (GET YOUR EARS TESTED!!)
I'm sorry 'Music Fan'(an ironic name really) but I must respond to the comment that troubled me for weeks - the fact you said there were some re-recordings on this Demon label album (usually a good source).

I was reluctant to buy a copy because of this.
- when Amazon dropped the price I bought a copy and have just checked them out.

I am pleased to say ** THEY ARE ALL THE ORIGINAL HIT RECORDINGS ** Great value for money.

A great selection, a great price snd once again THEY ARE ORIGINALS - AND I'M ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN ABOUT THIS - buy with confidence.

100 Hits - 70s 5 x CD Box Set
Very good but not quite an excellent product by Demon Music due to a handful of re-recordings slipping through the net. Most nocticeable are Fool if you think it's over by Chris Rea and Knock Three Times by Dawn but Yellow River (Christie) and Cats in the Cradle (Harry Chapin) sound suspect also.
Just a lapse in attention to detail that stops this being an excellent compilation.

This is a great cd for all those popular sounds of the 70s, at a reasonable price. They're all there. Great memories of a great time in music. Throughly recommended.All top hits.
