Editorial Reviews
CD Description
Following a ten year gap from the pop scene, 2006 saw Take That embark on a massively successful UK tour which led to an award for Best Live Return at the Vodafone Live Music Awards. Each member of the band (minus Robbie Williams) made a contribution to the writing of this release giving it a contemporary feel. The singles, 'Patience', 'Shine' and 'Rule TheWorld' are included, as well as a DVD featuring music videos of singles from the album.
Customer Reviews
Awesome!
I liked Take That first time around but never bothered buying any of their music. I heard "Patience" on a TV show and knew straight away that this was going to be a special album. I was right! I wasn't really interested in getting the DVD with the CD but I'm so glad I did. Beautiful World is a wonderful album which will appeal to both old and new fans. I'm delighted to see that the lads look great, sound better than ever and can still dance! Robbie, eat your heart out! Welcome back, Take That!
Take Thats come back album
Its absolutely brilliant. Its great to hear individual songs from all of them You can tell the boys have matured over the last ten years. Its a really good easy listening album I highly recommend it.
I love the new Take That
I was never an original Take That fan (all those years ago...) although many of my friends were, and for that reason I resisted buying this album for AGES, even though I loved "Patience" when I first heard it!!
Their new stuff is great. There's stuff from all the boys on this album. You don't miss Robbie at all - his style would be too strong for the re-formed Take That anyway. There seems to be more meaning to their music now, but then I'm sure my own tastes have changed!! It's easy to listen to, they sound great, and there's meaning there too. It's gone straight on my mp3 player for a long flight ahead. All the tracks are good - not a single one I don't like.
Whether you're a long-standing fan or a new convert, if you're even half tempted - buy it! - you won't be disappointed. The DVD's fun to watch too.
