Wake up Microsoft!
I bought the game yesterday and got my money back today.
It stopped running each time before I could play it.
To get help was as complicated as playing an adventure game.
After loading patches for Vista, and, in desperation, from a gamesite - it still stopped running.
This is a Microsoft game, can you believe!

Great game on PC
First of all only read the newer reveiws as i think they have upgraded the version!

i am running my pc on full graphic and have had no problems! did have 2 gig ram but upgraded to 4 gig and my graphics card is a nvidia gforce 8600

and works fine!

no save glitchs near the end of the game i think! just done all the stuff underground! (with out giving to much away)

really good game worth getting! Cant stop playing but still not as good as COD4 but that is unfair to compear as they are different games! this is more squad/ thrid person shooting!

Gears of War
People have been saying that gears of war on the PC is rubbish, buggy and problematic. I have ordered the game and I did some research. If you find the right site you can find all the solutions to the problems you are having. Some people have been saying that there game jst wont start. You need to : Start> All programs> Games > Gears of war. The mircrosoft games usually install themselves here and if you use this method, it might work. Another thing is to do with windows live. Al you have to do is download it off the microsoft site. Just type Games for windows - live into google and a link should come up. A lot of problems with the game are caused by this. Also, patches are available on the web that fix bugs like the one where you loose your saved game data or your live account. These are all fixable by downloading the patch.

By the way, gears of war is the most amazing game ever. The AI system is amazing and the graphics are stunning. The story mode is fun but multiplayr is something else.....AMAZING!
