Customer Reviews
great tv stand for the money
Overall very good.
The good: Well looks good - but kinda wish went for the black one now. As it would help to hide the wires. But from sofa eye line level looks great. Well built good quality. Easy to assemble - took only 10 mins if that.
The Bad:
The packaging a bit poor - also very awkward to carry... Quite slippy box material - Not good considering the glass contents.
Having saying that for the money it looks like a £200 plus stand. Worth the buy.
Elegant, Functional, and Great Value!
Bought this to support a new Sony 40V4000 TV (40 inch LCD TV weighing 20kgs), as well as a DVD payer and Sky+ box. The stand was built in 15 minutes - no tools required - but the glass shelves are, understandably, heavy! Amazon have this at an excellent price - similar stands are 100-200 quid at Argos/Homebase etc, and I even got a £10 discount for ordering it with the new TV.
Build quality is very good - when assembled, all legs and shelves appear true, symmetrical and fully "in line".
An unobtrusive, good-looking, functional and cheap stand. Highly recommended
WARNING!
Looks good but is DANGEROUS! Yesterday, the top shelf of the stand exploded into a thousand pieces - the noise and shock were considerable. Glass was spread over a large area including a spot where the grandchildren had been sitting earlier. We were nowhere near the stand at the time and were in the process of deleting a programme which had been recorded prior to turning the tv off.
We bought the stand with a Samsung 40" tv almost 4 months ago. The stand has a 30 day warranty only.
The purpose of this review is to warn you that the glass on the stand is capable of exploding.
