An Album That Is A Good Introduction To Whitney. 3
I didn't buy this album because it would have been pointless, i already own all of the songs from buying the last greatest hits album. Of course there's no denying that the vocals are astounding, but this wouldn't change no matter how many collections she brought out. I believe this album is the best choice for anyone who is just getting introduced to Whitney Houston, as it only contains the main songs that she's known for full stop, there are certainly no fillers or remixes it's just the very best of Whitney, but for fans such as me, who've followed her though each album from beginning to end are yearning for some new material, and are getting very board with collection after collection.

Forget the fact that she's done a Collection before, shouldn't we concentrate on the singing?5
Whitney Houstan is a Brilliant singer and like all her other 'collections' she has proved to us once more what she is made of. Compare her to Leona and to others and you will see the difference.

Get this, if you have no other Great Collections of Whitney.

christmas evil marketing ploy2
Don't buy this album, it's an evil marketing ploy!!! If you desperately need it, buy the other previous collections or buy her old albums that has your favourite songs in it. Those are worth your every sweat, tears and blood. This will gives her and her greedy record company more money from the public who does not know. Churning collections every single year with the same old songs makes me really angry because it blinded the masses that at its core, every collections of this singer will always omitted a certain hit song/songs,so that the "hits" could be put into another collections. Very evil.

She can't sing live since she debuted in the early 80's,always lazy to really sing, always do that "talk-sing" or asked the audience to sing with her. Even when she was asked to perform "One Moment In Time" at the Grammys, her vocal was not constant at all and she even had to shrieked at some point. What a waste of precious talent for not preparing!!! Try and compare that to the beautiful voices of Tina Arena,Celine Dion(when she sings her french songs),Lara Fabian,Beyonce, etc. These are powerhouse vocals and worth every single money to see them perform and of course,to buy their respective cds too.

They said old habits die hard. How true indeed. Her attitude towards her career once more wrecked her first ever performance since...never?....in Malaysia's music festival,"Live and Loud",in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Out of 10,000 people of multi-nationals and multi-races that paid a huge sum of money just to see this diva performed "live",nearly 9,000 people left just right after she "sing-talk" her first 3 songs into her show. Just imagine what kind of voice that could moved people to their cars and left?

All she can do is to rely on her past glories and if she were to release a new album, that wouldn't be her voice but a mix and mash of studio technical/enhancement effects, etc, etc. The songs here were merely the enhancement of her voice. No wonder Mr.Burt Bacharach fired her during the Oscars show sometimes ago because this lady certainly can't sing. I'd rather look forward to whatever Madonna or Kylie are selling me. At the very least, you know that these singers work hard and keep on improving and their concerts are always beyond amazing! At least, you know in certain segments they did sing live and loud!
