DVD Description
In 1994, Star Trek had to take a backseat to a new kid on the block, science-fiction series Babylon 5, created by Michael Straczynski. In a nutshell, it's the 23rd Century and the Babylon 5 space station has become an interplanetary peaceful negotiation centre. Humans and aliens attempt to settle differences in a reasonable fashion here under the stewardship of President John J. Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner), which makes for some fantastical plot arcs throughout its five year run.
This stylishly compact yet comprehensive box set contains every Babylon 5 episode ever made, the series Crusade and all six Babylon 5 feature films with extras, plus the brand-new feature The Lost Tales, which has never been shown on television.

Best value ever
I remember seeing bits and pieces when it came out on television but I never got the whole story. Now I am thoroughly enjoying seeing the whole story unravel... This is an amazing value for money and my best buy to this date.

The Best TV Show EVER!!!
I think all the other reviews tell you all you need to know. I just wanted to add another five-star review so that those who are browsing might be swayed even more to consider this product. I own the original B5: The Complete Universe and have The Lost Tales seperately. B5 is such a fantastic adventure that every time I complete the box-set I feel sad that I can't see more of what's happening in that universe. For any lover of sci-fi or even just anyone who enjoys a great novel, I guarantee that you will not be let down. Outstanding, irreplaceable TV that's sorely missed.

Still amazing, I love this show. This box set has everything- every last Babylon 5 related thing ever, packed into a relatively small space. Its quite aesthetically pleasing. I think its good value for money, and hopefully if the Lost Tales part of it sells well then they might make some more! You never know.

I hadn't watched this show in 11 years, but I loved it at the time. So recently I rented a few discs, out of curiosity to see what it would be like to watch again. After two discs I was completely hooked, again, and decided instead to buy the whole lot.

It holds up so well, its so story-rich in comparison to every sci-fi show since. Its also so inventive, you can see how subsequent shows have ripped it off. What makes it for me is the darker side of the conflicts portrayed, internal and external, and the zen/mystical aspects of the stories. I also love the fact that the entire created world is explored so in depth and that they spent so much time developing the characters, the cultures, and the complex political backgrounds. Just brilliant.
