This is Brilliant, Far better value than the Ipod Shuffle5
Same price as Ipod and it has far more features.
In my opinion it looks better
4x the memory for the same rpice
    Greater Battery life
    FM radio
    Microphone
    A screen
    Smaller and lighter
    Easier to transfer music files.

This sums it up really, you would have to be crazy and illogical to choose the Ipod.

Ipod really need to step up their game!5
My Stone Plus 4gb arrived yesterday, and my first thought was wow! How can they produce something with so many features and let it go so cheap! Obviously Creative still make a good profit on the Stone Plus, but I'm surprised they don't charge more considering the amount of features it has compared with the Ipod shuffle (Screen, FM radio, stopwatch, time & date display, customisable EQ, microphone etc). The screen is super clear an I only ever need it on half contrast, and the sound level output is higher than you'll ever want it. Even at high volumes the tiny battery lasts quite a while. The only issue I've found is with the speed at which you can navigate between artists- if you've got 150 artists as I do it takes forever to get to the bottom ones- but when the shuffle doesn't even have a screen to navigate with, the decision seems obvious! I simply can't believe that Ipod expect the shuffle to last when it has a competitor like this. Sure, it doesn't feel quite as well made as an Ipod, but it's solid enough, and it's so small and compact that you're far more likely to lose it than see it break! If you're shopping for a mini Mp3 player then please just see sense and buy the one with 4 times more space, 5 times as many features, and a screen- the Creative.

I bought the 4Gb and have owned this for a few weeks now. It is extremely easy to use - just plug in via USB and drag and drop music files. The screen is clear. The playlists come up very quickly with no long wait to scroll through your library. The sound quality is fantastic through good speakers. The headphones are fine. The battery life is very good and despite being tiny it takes a normal stereo jack. It is so small I worry I will lose mine. I have left the USB adapter plugged in so I can locate it in my pocket! This player gives you 4GB of quality juke box with no unnecessary frills or fancies. I have never reviewed anything before - I think it's that good it needs to be shared.I have tried the cheaper route to MP3 happiness via small memory MP3s and a Hong Kong 'bargain' on ebay. Beware they are out there even on Amazon! If you go for one of those you will spend nearly as much as you will on this Zen. It will probably have poor sound quality, slow memory, it will break and (as happened to me)the charger may blow up. Anyway, avoid that hassle and spend your £40 on a Zen.
