Not bad but battery size a bit small.
I've seen other Wii chargers/docking stations before which looked bulky or needed you to plug in the whole Wii remote to get the thing to recharge but this is quite small and allows you to plug it into any USB port (PC, Wii, PS2...). If you have a cover over the Wii remote you will need to remove part of it in order to recharge the battery however.
The package claims up to 15 hours of gameplay but I found it did less especially if you plug in the nunchuck attachment. The battery provided is only 1100mAH size which is fine but there are larger battery capacities available giving you more gametime, the downside being is that they take longer to recharge. I bought this for £5 so I'm not complaining. If you are looking for a cheap way to save money on regular batteries and do your bit for the planet this might be worth it.
15 hours... Think they meant 1.5 hours?!?!?!
Great idea as batteries only last two weeks, however, I have had a couple of these for just over a week now and neither last more than about 90 mins before they die? I have left them both on charge over night until the red led goes out and have even tried then charging them some more, but it makes no difference!!! I use Wii fit and EA Active trainier everyday for between 45-90 mins - if I go over I have to use the second remote because the first one dies! Admittedly the packs have to run a controller and a nunchuck when Ea Active is in use, but although I didn't believe the 15 hour claim I thought I would get a good 5 hours out of each pack??????
Disappointing
I bought this on the basis that another Madcatz charge pack I own holds days worth of charge, but this one only seems to hold a few hours worth. It's pretty much constantly on charge, rather than in the Wii-mote.
I guess the only plus points are that it was cheap, and it charges from the USB port on the Wii. On the whole though you'd be better off with some regular re-chargable batteries..
