Manufacturer's Description

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock continues to build on Guitar Hero's successful easy to play, but difficult to master gameplay mechanic to take the franchise to a whole new level. With master tracks from legendary bands like Sex Pistols, Guns N Roses, Rolling Stones, Metallica, and Pearl Jam, along with original music composed specifically for the game by iconic guitarists Slash and Tom Morello, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock sports the greatest soundtrack to ever find its way into a videogame. Vastly improved graphics immerse gamers into their rock arenas and heighten their visual experience while the new wireless Gibson guitar controllers allow the players to channel their inner guitar gods. The arcade-inspired battle mode, expanded co-op career and boss battles add depth and extend gameplay for countless hours of shred time.

Epic reform to traditional gameplay.5
I only bought Guitar Hero III last week. I ordered it on the Tuesday, and it arrived as promised the following Thursday, which I was very pleased with. But enough about the delivery; this game is Epic.. Unbelievable. It wipes the floor with any other form of gaming to be quite honest, not only does it employ a natural skill, that undying pursuit to attempt harder and more trickier 'levels', it gives you a real exhilaration. I've currently beaten the career mode on easy (not that much an accomplishment I admit) but the transition to Medium is breathtaking. I had to practice my own playing technique to be able to keep up, and after defeating that task I felt great lol. Definately a must have, it never gets boring, it supplies you with hours and hours of fun, and for £60.. It's a bargain.
Have fun with your own copy ;)

Serious controller issues1
Having had this game for the Wii since it came out, I thought I`d get for the PS3 to take advantage of the downloadable content, a big mistake! On the Wii I could play most songs on hard and even a few on expert hitting most notes. On the PS3 it is a mission to get a decent percentage on easy. The controller seems to be out of sync and doesn`t always register notes. I tried callibrating the lag to no avail so went on the internet looking for help to find out loads of others have had the same problem. A terrible product and its a shame Activision seems to have their heads in the sand as far as fixing a problem they obviously know exists with the PS3 version of this game. If you got another console I would recommend this game as it`s great fun but definetly not for the PS3.

Great fun, and now at a cheap price!5
Make no mistake, this is a great fun game that you can't help getting into. However it does require you to have some sense of rhythm and hand-to-eye co-ordination. My parents tried it and just failed completely lol

As for the connection troubles I simply followed the instructions (always a good idea) and it was flawless.

Get it now and become the Rock God you've always wanted to be!
