After the long wait Chante is back, and its about time too.
Her voice is dazzling as she hits the high notes. She reminds the listener of old times with some of the harmonies, which sound like jazz. Her lyrics are not really fresh, but they are honest and/or romantic.
Best songs are My Eyes, Do For You, Love The Woman and Guess Who I Saw Today.
Weaker songs are Always Gonna Be Something and Special which are nice but bland compared to the others.
Chante mixes jazz with rnb on this record like in her debut. I am impressed with the album, you will be too.
Worth getting.
