Customer Reviews

An absolute must-see for Take That fans!5
A Take That musical. If you're rolling your eyes, then I suggest you swiftly navigate to another page on the site. If not, however, then it's likely you either love Take That, musicals, or both. In which case, I salute you (and recommend your order your copy right away). Now I wouldn't say I'm a musical fan, as such, but I do love Take That, therefore when I saw this advertised, I knew I had to go.

I went to see the real thing in Stoke-on-Trent, and absolutely loved it. I was enthralled from start to finish. The Take That songs are seamlessly woven into the storyline of the musical, and the storyline itself is fantastic. There's loads of humour, and a few gentle digs at the real Take That, but nothing major. They probably laughed too. The cast are fantastic - they can sing, act and dance. Boy, can they dance!! There are some magnificent moves in Never Forget: The Musical!

The songs aren't performed as karaoke versions of the originals which can be confusing when you're trying to sing along, but it's fantastic how they use the lyrics to tell the story of what is happening with the characters. It's exhilarating and moving in equal parts, you'll likely need tissues.

The DVD is just what you'd expect, a recording from the show. The downside is it doesn't quite pick up the atmosphere of the show, but obviously you'll find that with any similar sort of DVD, concert recordings and so on. It still had me singing and dancing along, and crying at the sad and lovey-dovey parts. The definite upside is it zooms in much closer to the hot guy who plays Jason Orange - muscles to die for!

So if you love Take That, you will unquestionably adore this. It's fun, it's frantic and will have you bopping in your living room. But if you get chance to see the real thing - go! But buy this anyway because you'll definitely want to see it again!

Could it be magic??? YES IT COULD!!4
I purchased this dvd after watching the show in the west end and it really recreates the magic of the show! if you loved the show then you will love this. The story is easy to follow and the songs fit in well. Warning to hard core take that fans, the songs have been changed slightly and this may be off putting for some. In my opinion its well worth a watch!

Will Never Forget Brill5
I am a Take That fan and I loved the show. The Cast were all brilliant and the true TT boys should be pleased with the show. I watched the documentry on tv and wondered why TT didn't want to have anything to do with the show, and when I went to see the musical I was even more confused as the show was great and didn't do any harm to TT at all. So all you TT fans go buy it because its worth it.
