Good, but could be better.3
I have always wanted this game since it came out and I got my hands on a pre-owned copy after trading in the appalling TNA Impact. I was very impressed with the opening cutscene and the first level was fantastic. It played like a modern version of Indiana Jones. The graphics are amazing, you really feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, in an ancient temple and a German U-Boat from World War 2. However, it was after this level that the game took a strange turn in to a shoot-em up.

The levels that follow are highly frustrating and basically require to shoot wave after wave of baddies from cover. The baddies require too many bullet hits before they die which only drags out the fighting to the point where it becomes frustrating and boring. I was really hoping for this to be an adventure in to history but it is basically just a shoot-em up with some treasure thrown in here and there. I hope they improve the sequel so that it focuses more on the 'Indiana Jones' side of the game which was fun when you weren't shooting at hundreds of baddies.

best game ive got5
After reading the revews and wachting the tralar i bought it.When i got it i opend it up and put it in my ps3.And wow what a game for starters the graphics are abousolutly butiful and stunning.the combat system is brillant you get to use all sorts of guns like shot guns machine guns etc
and you also get to do realy cool moves like sneaking up on a guy and braking his neck or just punching them or doing a flying kick. The game also uses the sixaxes a fair bit and the story line is realy good and you get so hoked you cant put it down.An Amazing Game a MUST BUY FOr PS3 owners

bored then frustrated2
I bought this game hoping for another great adventure since the previous game I bought for my PS3 was oblivion which gave me hours upon hours of entertainment and value for money. Unfortunately Drake's fortune did not. It soon became clear all I was expected to do was run a bit, shoot a bit and climb a bit over and over again. Frankly the shoot outs with the enemies soon became extremely boring, repeating the same thing every time. Plus the enemies seemed to only have to shoot Drake a couple of times before he died yet Drake has to shoot them many more times to achieve the same effect.

In the later levels the game seems to just go down the 'dark places full of zombies' route which seems somewhat unimaginative and cliche. I also found the later levels extremely frustrating as it would take me ages to get rid of a swarm of zombies only to be killed by another one as Drake pauses to reload his gun meaning having to kill the swarm all over again.

The only good things about this game are the graphics which are done well and the cutscenes which are quite realistic. If you're looking for a game with lots of adventure and puzzle solving which is more than just a constant shoot out it might be better to look elsewhere.
