The first new studio album for 35 years. FEATURING ORIGINAL MEMBERS NEIL INNES, ROGER RUSKIN SPEAR, RODNEY SLATER , LEGS LARRY SMITH, SAM SPOONS, VERNON DUDLEY BOHAY NOWELL AND BOB KERR WITH SHINY NEW 2007 BONZOS - ADRIAN EDMONDSON, STEPHEN FRY AND PHILL JUPITUS 35 years in the making, the brand new Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band album will be unleashed on the unsuspecting British public on December 10th 2007. This brilliant new studio album features over 70 minutes of brand new Bonzo material performed by a multi-talented line up which features the original Bonzo members plus new boys Adrian Edmondson, Phill Jupitus and Stephen Fry. Highlights of this amazing offering include a hilarious new take on the Kaiser Chiefs I Predict A Riot, then it's lighters aloft and arms in the air for the madness that is Stadium Rock and on to a moving version of Old Tige, probably the best song ever written about a ghost dog. New characters to add to the tradition that brought you Rawlinson's End include Hawkeye The Gnu and the Wire People. Pointless obsessions and wry observations soon to be Bonzo legends include Purple Sprouting Broccoli and Beautiful People. The late, great Vivian Stanshall is also here in spirit with a track Now You're Asleep co-written with David Caitlin Birch released on CD for the first time.

Customer Reviews
Oh Joy!
Loved this! True in spirit and execution to the memory of our beloved Bonzo's. Only thing missing of course is the great one, Vivian, now crooning lovingly to his old Victrola up in the big blue.
Complete with adverts, clarinet, tuba, banjo, songs of heartbreak, singing saw, spoon solo, nimble piano and a pinch of french for good measure.
Put on your headphones and listen to this all the way through.
It flows together seamlessly with no air between songs. doesn't it.
With pause instructions at disc's mid-way point to simulate the turning over of your old black plastic as in those farflung days.
Blithering musicanship.
Stark vocals. Lunacy. Great songs.
Exquisite readings/narration/great fun.
Gently sentimental/roaringly half-cocked.
Memory lane revisited with modern day plot points referenced.
Good to the last 'arf'
colorful accompanying booklet filled with a bounty of ephemera...um, I mean, information, excellent photo's, song background...a really special package inside and out.
the DVD i haven't watched yet
They're Back !!
This album is great primarily because it is all NEW material and also with some new members ( temporary or otherwise ). Ade Edmonson in particular seems a natural and his comments on the bonus DVD indicate his pride in being in the group....and this also comes out in the few tracks that he sings on.
As an earlier reviewer said...music can and should be fun... give it a try...you won't be disappointed !
Excellent album... You have been missed.
Being Humourless is the new Rock'N'Roll. Todays music scene takes itself more seriously than it deserves too and certainly more serious than it should... today's music is made up of, boring guitar bands who can't write decent lyrics, silly little rich girls who rail against consumerism whilst presenting there own clothing range, TV talent show winners and women who have made Soul music Un-Sexy(Travesty)...
Luckily this is not the new Rock'N'Roll, it's the Bonzos... Vivian may be there no longer, but there is still a lot of fun, great music and appropriate targets being mocked in a good humoured way...
Excellent album... You have been missed.
