Customer Reviews
Excellent
Andy Williams has been singing since the 50's when everyone was used to singing alongside a full orchestra, like other well known singers of that time, (Matt Monroe, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra etc).
Andy is known for his ballads he sung; although he did some slightly faster songs as well He has a lovely melodic voice which had a lovely tone, he has a distinctive voice which when any of his music is played anywhere a fan of his can tell instantly. :-)
I have many off Andy Williams albums on vinyl and cassette. Some of albums I haven't heard for a couple of years as I haven't been able to get them on CD which is a great shame.
What attracted to me to this album was all my favourites were on it plus a couple that I hadn't got, (House of bamboo, Wives and Lovers and Something Stupid). :-)
If you've never heard many of Andy Williams but love this kind of music with a full orchestra this is a good album to get, as it has a lot of his different styles on and a lot of his well songs.
I love this album and as a huge fan I'll be playing this album a lot. :-)
nice collection
I found only 3 songs to be very good in this album, the rest I would say boring.
