'Runnin' Wild' is the second album by Australian rock band Airbourne. Trading on vintage riffs reminiscent of classic rock outfits such as AC/DC and Motley Crue, the band appropriate their own style of memorable hooks and catchy lyrics. Customer Reviews

Plenty of room for improvement3
After a few listens to this, some irritations become clear.

The vocalist's range is limited from 'shouting' to 'shouting louder' - and any 'song' consists of simply alternating between the two.

The lyrics are clumsy at best. For example, in Cheap Wine & Cheaper Women, the line 'Women come and go, they never do remain' grates with me every time I hear it - the 'do' awkwardly inserted to make the line scan.

I can understand why the guitar riff based tunes have been compared to AC/DC, but the complete package is far from being anything like them.

Here's hoping their next album will be much improved.

Good old fashion Rock n roll.5

Brilliant album,no soppy ballards here, all killer,no filler as they say. This is the sort of album the Darkness should have made (and were capable of).Every track a classic.Seen the band live and they are incredible, like AC/DC but on speed.Buy it now and sell your grandmother if you have to,to get tickets for a live show.
