Not at all like FFTA on gba2
I was expecting it to be at least a bit like FFTA for the gba
but its nothing like it. You can't have all the creatures like moogles
and things, the fighting style is way too fast and it was really quite hard. My advice is, if you liked FFTA on gba and want something like it,
don't have this.

This game threw me back!5
When I ordered this game, i did not expect it to be anything like what it is. Since I recieved it, I have been playing it non-stop, and have played 27 hours in the past week, (excluding the fact that ive had numerous Game Overs, and moments where ive reset my DS without saving.) I have currently completed 71% of the game, all of which has been very entertaining indeed. The gameplay is superb, and the ideas are unlike any others which i have seen other games, especially within the Final Fantasy series. I am still to complete the game: Final Fantasy XII, for the PS2, yet it doesnt matter, because the story line of Revenant Wings doesnt require you to know of the events which took place in the previous game. The graphics are good for the DS's capability, and the numerous monsters or 'Espers' which you get to control, are great, including well known recurring ones, such as: Shiva, Ifrit and Leviathan. The difficulty of the game varies, and the types of units which you can control, will alter how challenging each stage can be found. This is a magnificent game, and once i (eventually) get un-stuck, and complete it, i am positive that i will want to play it again.

Very interesting and tough game4
I played this game since I wanted something new for my Nintendo DS collection and I had already completed FF XII. To be honest, the PS2 title was not really as good as I expected, but this game was fun and kept me interested for a long time. It has good missions, it's kinda long for Nintendo DS standards and also tough! Especially the final stages are quite a challenge. I recommend it for those who played Final Fantasy XII mainly, since the others will have trouble understanding the plot in a few parts of the game. Thus, 4/5 stars.
