Covers All Bases!
There are a good few products out there now for protecting your Zen. Some from creative, some from others, but this one really does come up trumps. The product description is accurate - that leather really is soft, and to go with it, the inside surfaces have been strengthened and covered with an i-nique branded material. This helps to maintain shape and withstand the odd prod from a sharp object. With all the aftermarket cases available these days it's refreshing to see i-nique have sensibly shed all the attachments apart from a tiny metal clip in the corner. There is no belt loop either - at last! This keeps the thing as thin as it can possibly be. Who wears these things on their belts anyway! The area on the right edge is perfectly spaced for all your cables and getting to the buttons is as easy as if there was no case. The button latch which holds the front down works like a dream and hasn't come undone by itself once. This product is a better choice than the silicon skins because you get screen protection, and to be honest, if it's open, the likelihood of scratching is minimal. The creative case has a horrible red trim, whereas the i-nique has nice tight white stitching. Lastly, please pay that little bit extra and keep your Zen in a condition that will please its next user. You'll get your money back when you come to sell your unscratched Zen. Go on, you've already had the intelligence not to buy an ipod!

Just the job
This item is the perfect match for my creative zen. The outer covering is very soft to touch and looks the biz. Inside it's sturdy and will definitley provide good protection. The player fits just right with access to all the buttons and ports. Worth the money and highly recommended.

Well designed case.
A good case overall; just to give prospective buyers a little more info on the product that isn't explicit in the description:

The case adds about 1cm ~ 1.2cm to the 'thickness' of your zen when closed and fastened. This might not sound too appealing but I still carry it around in my jeans' pockets with no issues - the case is a good shape for slipping in and out of pockets without getting snagged even if it is a bit thicker than some. (The added thickness is largely due to the relatively thick and stiff padding in both the flap and the rear of the case for added strength.)

The caribina (pictured in one of the photo's) comes with the case but can be removed.

The 'flap' can be used as a stand but doesn't appear to be designed with this in mind. It is certainly stiff enough; but keeping it from sliding on a shiny surface will limit the angle that you can prop your zen up at.

The case does not have a cable / headphone storage facility however I find that you can easilly wrap your headphones around the case at the hinge and still close / open the case unhindered.

As other reviews have pointed out; it is a solidly built case. In my opinion; a must buy for those of you who worry about accidentally putting keys and loose change in the same pocket as your zen.

Looses a star as it is not 'feature rich' i.e. stand is not really a stand and cable storage would be nice. But the case is very solid and seems hard wearing so a very strong 4 if not 4.5 stars from me.
