Customer Reviews
Very Good Music
This Album Is very good and certainly has som very catchy songs,
A great release and especially for a soundtrack.
Here's my synopsis:
Theme To St. Trinians: This song is quite good and has very catchy material in it.
Performed by Girls Aloud, the tune is something you'de hum to yourself absent-mindedly. (End Song/Throughout Film)
Trouble: This song is performed by the cast of St. Trinians and wouldn't be one of my favourites, but is again quite catchy. (When They're In Debt)
Oh My God: This is a fantastic song and is done by both Mark Ronson & Lily Allen, it has got a brilliant tune and is from the album 'Version' by Mark Ronson. Wonderful. (When Anna Arrives)
Love Is In the Air: Simply awful yet very appealing. those are about the best words you could use for this song.
Performed By Rupert Everett & Colin Firth. (End Titles)
Don't give up: This is wonderful and extremely catchy song by the Noisettes.
They can have you singing it for days. (The Hockey Game)
Nine2Five: This great song was in the charts a while back, and is simply very addictive & catchy. Good for the film as well. (When 'Flash' Arrives)
If I Can't Dance: Performed by Sophie-Ellis Bexter, this is quite infectious and has a good beat to it. (The Laser Beam Scene)
Teenage Kicks: I wouldn't call this great. It has an O.K. sound to it but you would certainly need to like this sort of thing to appreciate it. (After The Hockey Game)
Sanctuary: Not that great but alright. It has a certain country feel and it's one you'de find yourself inclined to skip. ([I Really Can't remember Where This Comes In])
Love Is A Many Splendour Thing: Not one i'd have on all the time and in its day was very popular. (The President Meets The Principle)
Three Spoons Of Suga: Certainly not A Favourite, and it has to be said that this is not one of the best songs on here.
Performed by Sugababes, it has the feeling that it's a copy of much better songs and of poorer quality.
Not that i'd skip it either though. (The Makeover)
On My Way To Satisfaction: It's hard to describe this song as it has good points and yet bad points also.
Its good points is that it has got very good lyrics and the backing sound is quite fantastic.
its bad point is that the songs main tempo is at the very end of the song and makes you have to wait about two minutes to get to the best bit.
This song is done by Girls Aloud also. (The Walk To The Museum)
Theme To St. Trinians: This is a copy of the song by Girls Aloud except that it's done by the Cast Of St. trinians.
Catchy... yet admittedly not as good as the Girls Aloud version.
(Starting Titles)
I prefer the soundtrack to the movie..
I got bored of the film, but having heard the soundtrack i preferred the music to the film!
I like all types of music, and this contains all types of music.. so it definately suited me!
I usually get bored of theme tunes, but the Theme Tune to St Trinians by Girls Aloud is awesome, gets me everytime and i start singing!
I would totally buy this album, its amazing!!
Hope this helps x
Superb music soundtrack
When I went and saw St Trinians at the movies, my first thought on leaving the theater was that I really want the music.
And the album sure doesn't disappoint! I can listen to it over and over, and the theme song is TOTALLY singable, especially in the car. There are a great mix of songs, from both main stream media and also sung by the cast.
Great songs from a brilliant movie.
