junk
i really like playing tennis on computer games but this one is a complete joke. first of all i got bored within 15 mins of playing it as i got a wii about a month ago and i got this game with it and i havent played it since i got it as its so terrible. the control methods are crap, having to choose a different control method everytime you play a different court.
im not even going to go into the gameplay detail cos just face it there isnt one.
i wanted to buy top spin 3 but i changed my mind after the terrible reviews it got. i think the wii really needs a decent tennis game to play on cos this one is far from decent
Avoid.
Terrible: Get wii sports tennis instead!
This game has all the colour and razzmatazz of carnival settings but that's where the appeal ends. The game is fast paced, but your response is jeopardised; you must swing a second before you intend to hit the ball, meaning that you will miss it most of the time.
The main appeal of wii is the groundbreaking interactivity. While this game provides much for the eyes to look at, its makers contradict the whole idea of playing on the wii console by constricting interactive play.
Why this game was released considering its inferiority to the existing wii sports tennis, I do not know. I though I was getting too old, but even the kids could not find it playable after just five minutes - enough said.
Great Game
I bought this game a few weeks ago after trying the PS3 version.
It is a really good game - the graphics look good and the background of the courts are well detailed and the music is great especially on the House of the Dead court.
The controls work well and you can use the classic controller if you don't want to swing the remote.
There are a good selection of Sega chartacters and a lot of different game modes
This game would be great for anyone not just for Sega fans
