Somebodies '0' has got to go!!
The worlds number one Light-welterweight champion in the world and hugely popular Ricky Hatton went up in weight and across 'the pond' to Las Vegas to challenge the 'pound-4-pound' best fight in the world; Floyd Mayweather. Both fighters were considered the best of their own weight divisions and both were regarded as being in the top 10 p4p (any weight-class) fighters in the world. Floyd Mayweather was the deserved betting-favourite whilst Ricky Hatton was the more popular fighter.
In both fighting styles and personality, these two fighter were polar opporsites. Floyd the arrogant and boastful persona, with defensive style and silky skills. Hatton a humourous and respectful character, with an agressive in-fighting style.
Hatton made a good start but Floyd adapted and eventually took control. Hatton puts up a brave effott, but the class, defence and speed proved too much for the Brave Mancunian.
As a fan of Hatton, this DVD may not be the most pleasing to watch, but Floyd's performance was the best of his career and even a Hatton-fan such as myself can enjoy the wonerful performance Floyd Mayweather puts on.
Praise for the Hitman
Well, Ricky, you came but you did not conquer, but let's remember, you fought the Pound-for-Pound. How many fighters gave it some welly like you did? Mr Cortez was in that ring fighting you also, let's not forget. For those, like me, who stopped up until the wee hours of Sunday Morning to watch your charged performance, we were not disappointed. You were elbowed constantly and... The list goes on! Hail the Hitman! Keep off them pies if you're going down to light-welter, like we all want you to. Oh yes, and I recommend you all buy this DVD!
