VERY UNHAPPY
Having ordered the Lume-N8 light bar for my sons birthday imagine how upset he was when he opened it and found it does not fit the PS3 80GB or 160GB. This was not mentioned on the purchase screen when I ordered it from Amazon so be careful !!!

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 80GB UNLESS...
like many others, i was abit annoyed that amazon didnt state that this wasnt compatible with the lastest version on the 360 console

having had the original 40gb, which broke and sony replaced within 48hours with the newer 80gb model (thanks sony)
my friend also had his replaced about 3weeks before mine, and he was given the 40gb again,
having thought the only difference in the consoles was the HDD size i bought this light bar as i have led coming from the back of my tv and it just made sense really

i got it today, tried to snap it on the back of the console, and it didnt work, the AV slot of the back (which this accessory slots into to hold in place ) has been moved, about 5inches to the right so this no longer fits the newer consoles,
however if you dont use the AV, (eg using hdmi) and have you console horizontal you can just plug this in, and rest in neatly on the wires and it works perfectly :), its just not securly attached to the ps3 :)

but all in all excellent product :)
just need to bring out a 80gb compatible one and allow 80gb owners to exchange their fully working 40gb ones for the 80gb ones :)

I love this thing! It's just beautiful!!
It's nice because it makes a lovely bright ( or not bright, depending on which setting you have it on ) blue led light. and you can change the angel of projection to fit your room! and it can be on Auto (turns on when your PS3 is, and off when your PS3 is), ON (on at all times) and OFF (off at all times)i jus love it!!!

TIP: it looks even more beautiful with a PS3 stand!
