Great quality and responsive arcade stick
I was originally torn between this and the much respected Hori Arcade Stick. This was slightly cheaper but is ultimately no less inferior. The build quality is excellent. The stick and buttons are very responsive. It feels weighty and solid and the palm rest is a great addition. I have been really impressed with this arcade stick and it has made playing fighting games much more enjoyable. I look forward to playing this with SFIV !

Excelent for Street Fighter IV
At the age of 30, I wanted a "value" arcade stick to enable me to re-live my mis-spent youth playing Street Fighter in arcades and on my old SNES. This is the business. OK it's not of the same quality as some other sticks out there, but for the small asking price this is excellent. Feels good on the left hand with satisfying clicks, making those difficult to pull off (on a game pad) super and ultra combos a thing of the past. If you want a reasonably priced arcade stick perfect for Street Fighter IV on your PS3 then you really can't go wrong with this.

Street Fighter IV lovers - this is the real deal!
We all are going through the same period of desperation in these days. Street fighter IV has been released while the official Arcade sticks (Mad Catz)aren't available. Now the question is: Do I want to play this game with the given controller (which is crap) or do I want to put the game back on the shelf for the next couple of weeks until the sticks become available. Since that is not really an option (come on - you hold the game in your hands and you consider putting it back on the shelf - NO WAY!). The problem is, you either don't want to ruin the loads of fun that this game is capable of giving to you...in case you have a well built arcade stick.
I went the special way. This beauty is so reasonably priced that I decided to get it by now just to get the Mad Catz Tournament Edition once it becomes available. Let me tell you...that's not going to happen. I couldn't wish for a better suited Arcade Stick than the Subsonic for Street Fighter IV. Armed with the Subsonic Arcade Stick you can do every Special, Ultra and Ultimate move in the game asleep.
The material quality seems to be really high. The steel-stick itself is very sturdy. Every button is very responsive and the button location is well suited for any street fighter game. The overall stick has a nice heavyweight feeling to it so it doesn't require your extra hand for keeping it firmly in place. Ok, if you are running wild on the stick the whole thing will move and you'll need the extra hand.
While that's a minor important aspect, the Subsonic Arcade stick has a bonus plus in my opinion concerning the visual department since it doesn't look like the childish-looking Hori-counterparts. The stick also offers you a nice rubber-surface instead of a cheap-looking plastic surface.

I highly recommend the Subsonic Arcade stick for all you Street Fighter IV lovers. I really couldn't find any downside yet. Given the unbeatable price purchasing the Subsonic Arcade Stick is definitely a no-brainer.
