Great Game
It is a great game, very addictive with a good song set.
Only one problem.
Hammer ons and pull-offs are suprisingly difficult. In Guitar Hero 3, you can pull off of one note and leave the colour for the next note on and it will hit it. In Guitar Hero 2, you have to make sure the colour is pressed EXACTLY as you go over the note, which makes a hard solo even harder to get through.
But it is still a brilliant game. Recommended for all.
Excellent Addictive Game
I bought this for my son to compliment Guitar Hero III which he has completed. Again the game is addictive with plenty of new tracks to play and others you can download for a fee eg My Chemical Romance.
I really like the Guitar Hero genre, there is nothing quite satisfying than hitting the right note at the right time and getting the song to play. Basically you have to hit a colour on your guitar and strum at the same time as a coloured circle hits the base on the screen. You can play in several different levels, which means the notes play at various speeds with different amount of keys to press. The easiest which I like only involves using 3 keys plus strumming.
You do need a Xbox 360 guitar to play it, this game doesn't come with it but you can buy packs with the guitar with it, or buy Guitar Hero III pack and use its guitar with this game.
It is really fun and I can recommend it.
Guitar Hero II
I boought this game after completing guitar hero III so i'd have some more songs to play.. The game is still great compared to Legends of Rock! The GFX arnt as good but thats expected.. A quicker menu would have been a nice touch but as far as the songs & actually playing the game go, its GREAT!
