Editorial Reviews

CD Description
The cover of Danity Kane's sophomore release features the group members draped in negligees and bedsheets, and WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE makes good on the breezy, sexy allure of the image. With studio help from trackmasters Danja and Bryan Michael Cox, among others, and guest appearances from the likes of P. Diddy and Missy Elliott, Danity Kane have crafted a frothy collection of R&B-infused pop that bursts with radio-ready tunes. The ladies prove adept at lush balladry ("Ecstasy"), uptempo dance numbers ("Bad Girl"), and glamorous singalongs ("Damaged"). The image, material, and sound of WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE comes coated with a high degree of polish, but the precision of that polish makes it a pure pop confection.

Bad Boy's Bad Girls are back!5
The Bad Boy R&B sensation Danity Kane has returned with an awesome new album, with amazing new songs;
1. Welcome To The Dollhouse (intro)- Diddy introducing us to the new album.
2. Bad Girl Feat. Missy Elliott- This is simply a song that gets stuck in your head, it's catchy and very dancey, and to add to that legend Missy appears to show off some more of her rappin skills.
3. Damaged- The lead single off of the album, it's catchy and fun to dance to a very clever micx of R&B and Dance.
4. Pretty Boy- The song that lost to Damaged, a infectious almost hip hop track with a midtempo R&B chorus.
5. Strip Tease- The first song that the girls have written together, almost the new version of their song Right Now (On their debut album). Simply sedutive with great beats.
6. Sucka For Love- similar to classic Pop songs, simple chorus' and verses but great nontheless.
7. Secret Place (Interlude)- A nice mini track to ready you for the next, but it really deserves to be a whole song.
8. Ecstasy Feat. Rick Ross- Another interesting collaboration, simply a firey track.
9. 2 Of You- Another piece of uptempo seduction.
10. Lights Out- A song written by Dawn, I was a bit worried about how it would sound, but she managed to create a trademark Danity Kane seductor of a song.
11. Picture This (Interlude)- a slow mini song for a quick rest from all of the dancey tracks.
12. Poetry- When I heard the girls fell into the ballad trap i wasn't too happy and afraid of another Ride For You fiasco but upon hearin Poetry i instantly fell in love with it, it's midtempo, sweet and really shows off the girls combined harmonies. Worthy of being a single!
13. Key To My Heart- Another OK song, nothin else to say really.
14. Flashback (Interlude)- A nice showcase of the girls vocals.
15. Is Anybody Listening?- Another ballad, like Poetry, is very good and worthy of being a single.
16. Ain't Going Feat. Day26 & Donnie J- The Making the Band 4 theme with the boys of Day26 and solo singer Donnie J, great song, most likely to be the next single.
Overall, if anybody can top Danity Kane's first album, i'm sorry to say that only the girls themselves can, Day26 and Donnie have a lot to live up to!

Disappointing.......1
I loved the first Danity Kane album. I got it over a year ago and still listen to the tracks on my ipod almost every day and certainly every time I use the gym.
I have been waiting for the second album to come out whilst watching Making the band 4 and I have to say I am disappointed with it. I like Damaged and Is Anybody Listening but I find the rest of it too over-produced and un-melodic. This is just my opinion.
P.S I love Day 26's album.

DK!!4
Great album from the then 5 piece. Not as urban as the first album, bit more diverse, but still some quality tunes! Fantastic vocals from them all.
