Just the Job!5
I am a great fan of these portable memory devices and this has met all expectations. It's a small, neat and robust design with a small loop so it can be fitted to a key-ring or lanyard. Performance is good - it's fast, reliable and at 16GB has a good capacity all at a reasonable price.

The stick provides an easy method of sharing files between different PCs (much easier than burning CDs and DVDs) - simply plug it into a USB2 port and access the files as you would from a hard drive.

I also use mine for backup purposes - I store all data files on external hard drives (eg. Freecom 500GB and Freecom Hard Drive 1TB) then load important files such as my business websites, ftp upload server details, favourite photos, videos and music files onto these sticks which are easily carried around and also has the benefit of providing a secure off-site backup incase of any disaster.

If you're looking for simple, safe, reliable and highly-portable data storage or backup then look no further. You can't go wrong with this one!

Superb5

This is the third Freecom Databar I own. My other two are 4gb.

The reliability of these Databars is excellent. I have had
the other ones for roughly eight months and had no problems
with them whatsoever.

The design is perfect. It's sleek and has a tight fitting dust
proof cap.
There is a hole for a key chain at opposite end of cap.

Freecom make superb reliable no nonsense usb sticks, (and external
hard drives)which I highly recommend.

Excellent5
This Freecom pen is very stylish and small, just 7cm long, 3cm thick and 2cm deep. It's no wider than a USB port. Altogether it holds 16GB which is really good. If you're wondering what can I do with this then you can put on portable applications, like Firefox and many more applications. You can also use it to save data and media - especially good if you want to get a file to your PS3, Mac, PC, or Linux computer.

This comes in a simple hard plastic shrink wrap (like SD cards) and is very basic. You get a card telling you a few things like where to get Windows 98 drivers etc.

This is an excellent pen, I've not had a chance to test ReadyBoot, but on Windows it's easy to transfer files and the cap is easy to put on and off. It's even able to be put on your keyring, so you never loose it. Transfer speeds are your usual 25mb/s which is OK I guess.

Worth getting.
