CD Description
'11' is the appropriately named eleventh studio album from 'the groover from Vancouver', Bryan Adams. A selection of pop-rock classics-in-the-making and swoonsome ballads, this album has everything you'd expect from a Bryan Adams record and more. Includes the single 'I Thought I'd Seen Everything'.
Customer Reviews
One of his best!
This in my opinion is one of the best albums Bryan Adams has ever made. As a life-long fan my opinion may be biased, but every song on this album is catchy and instantly memorable, and I think his voice gets better and better with the years.
Overall it has a rockier feel than his previous two albums ('Spirit' and 'Room Service'), with uptempo tracks such as 'Oxygen', 'Flower grown wild' and 'Way of the world'. He also still proves that he's the king of sing-a-long stadium ballads with 'Something to believe in' and 'We found what we were looking for'. I'm looking forward to getting out my cigarette lighter and swaying to those this summer.
Any Bryan Adams fan will adore this album, and maybe this is the one that will also convert the sceptics...let's hope so as Bryan is a true legend!! :)
What's with the Broken Wings
When I heard Bryan Adams was releasing a new album after hearing the new single I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, unfortunately I am somewhat disappointed. Some of the songs are really good, but he seems to have an obsession with "broken wings" mentioned in 2 songs as well as a song title on it's own, are the lyrics running dry. I have most of Bryan's previous albums and I have to say, apart from the "Early Years" which I only played once, this is my least favourite. I really feel like he's lost something, come on Bryan where are the rock tunes, something to get your teeth into. If you're a fan, you'll buy this anyway, like me, but if are new to Bryan Adams, get one of his earlier albums, you won't be disappointed.
