Yet another Linkin Park classic5

So, the 4th single from Linkin Park's brilliant Minutes To Midnight. An album which was one of my faves from 2007 was packed with angsty, emotional songs and Given Up was one of the immediate highlights. While this CD single has little else to offer (it's only a one track single, offering no new songs - check the digital release for 2 new live tracks) fans will find it a welcome addition to their collection.

The song itself begins with a great little intro centered around handclaps and the jangling of keys before launching into an infectious guitar hook which carries the song through Chester's almost snarled lyrics. 'I'm my own worst enemy he sings' before launching into the chorus. However, the true highlight of this song is without a doubt the part where he screams for 20 seconds solid. An amazing song!
