Great Game Alert5
This game is great, I dont consider it to be just an add on from metal gear solid portable ops.
You have 20 more soldiors which look awsome. New infinity mission which is good fun but gets a little boring after a while, Some new amazing stages have been added. You can import all you soldiors from portable ops.

Online mode is amazing, with new game types, lots of players are there so you can allways get a game and you can tweak the game so it is just how you want.

Unfortunatly: There are quite a few glitches and is easy to hack, many people do it so it sort of lets the game down but otherwise it is the best game I have ever played. WOOOOOOOOOOOOH ;)

Well worth it if you're going online.4
First off this isnt a sequel. Think of it as a expansion or add-on. The sole purpose of portable ops plus is to expand on that highly addictive habbit of gaining more soldiers for your teams and to that end great soldiers of the past games are now avaiable. Old snake, roy campbell, raiden, SEAL's, genome soliders and much more are available. If you loved recruiting new soldiers from the past MPO you'll love this.

Single player 4/5: It's not a campaign so dont get any ideas. Basically you can import your whole team over from portable ops or start off fresh if you wish and then go into infinity mission. It is seperated into 4 difficulty levels adding 5 new stages each. The basic point of the stages is to get to the red advance point from the old MPO stages (hospital, patrol base etc.) But during these stages you have to find weapons and soldiers to add to your fighting force. You also have to complete special missions with certain rules to progress. It's over very quickly but if you want to get some of the great new soldiers you will have to venture in to extreme mode which is suicidal. Finally you can have 100 extra soldiers in your team and 4 new teams are placed in the sneaking squad. Take these new soldiers and weapons and move into online mode...

Online 5/5: This is where MPO+ really shines. Many new stages have been added to enjoy and all the classics are brought through. Many new aspects have been added and old ones tweaked. The chat system is much improved and it is easier to kill people. The weapons and characters are much more balanced and the environment is improved. If you want to show off those snazzy new soldiers then this is the only place to do it but its well worth it. Theres the same amount of people online as in the original and you can fight the origional MPO users seperately but with lots of restrictions placed on.

So if you loved recruiting soldiers from the original MPO and you have online then this is a must have. For only around 10-15 pounds its worth it.

It's great if...4
This game takes the online aspect of the original Portable Ops and expands it. The online aspect on the original was a great addition, but training up your recruits was a long arduous task, this game is focused solely on making it easier to get better recruits and train them up faster to take online and battle against opponents.

This game has no storyline, it's a stand-alone game which is meant for the purpose of online play.

The offline play is called 'Infinity Mission' where you go from one stage to the final stage (up to 20 stages depending on difficulty). You achieve different ranks for how well you do. It's monotonous but easier than in Portable Ops.

If you liked MPO online, you'll like this, more arenas, more battle types. If you're not going online, then it's probably not worth buying.
