DVD Description
NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humour, it's a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. The fourth season of NCIS begins with one of the investigators being charged with assassinating an Iranian prisoner. Former Mossad intelligence agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) has been framed, and there's only one man who can clear her name. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents travel the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps links. All 24 episodes are included in this six-disc box set, which also includes commentaries, a Q&A session with the cast members and an interesting look at the props used on the show.

Synopsis
Produced by Donald Bellisario (JAG), N.C.I.S. follows the workings of investigators at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Led by the wise Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a crack investigator with no qualms about bending the rules to find his answers, the team takes on cases involving terrorism, murder, espionage, and international arms smuggling. Gibbs is aided by homicide detective Anthony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly), forensic scientist Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette), medical examiner Dr. Donald ‘Ducky’ Mallard (David McCallum), computer expert Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), and new department head Jennifer Shepard (Lauren Holly). This collection presents every episode from the show's fourth series.

NCIS' Best Season Yet!5
If you've seen all three previous seasons of NCIS, you'll know just how great it is, take that and add more action, more suprises, more intrique and mystery, and more humour, and you've got season 4.
Throughout season 4, Tony falls in love with a woman named Jeanne, Gibbs returns from Mexico and rejoins his team, Ziva's new love is short lived, Jenny leads the investigation into an illegal arms dealer, and Tony sings!
You won't be disappointed with another 24 episodes of brilliant NCIS, now just waiting for season 5.

Quality Fun!!!5
Quality entertainment, well written, appealing characters, great banter, light and serious subjects, paced, thrilling and loads more superlatives. This is a fun show.
The subject matter may not always be something that you would laugh at but the writers have set the bar for pushing the boundaries of acceptable dark humour, at least on an American Network TV show.
Mark Harmon leads a great cast with a character that harkens back to the old school style of 'someone with personality' instead of the normal sterile PC modern incarnation of what passes for real people. Each and every member of his team has personality. They are all individuals with appealing quirks and this is so refreshing. They complement each other with their differences and seem to genuinely enjoy working together. That makes all the difference with a true ensemble cast. It benefits the show and I for one will continue to enjoy the entertainment on offer...

Gets better and better5
I've seen every episode of NCIS on DVD boxset. I first came to it on channel 5 when they were playing season 3 a couple of years back. Having enjoyed the first episode, I went and bought Season 1 & 2 on DVD, watched them and never looked back. Season 5 finished on FX a few weeks back (DVD boxset coming soon hopefully) and season 6 starts next year possibly March or April. This is a show for anyone as well as catering for those looking for something different to the normal police/detective dramas like Law and Order, CSI etc.

As for this boxset you get all epsiodes plus extras over 6 discs. The extras are pretty decent, the Cast Roundtable is particulary interesting. I only have one problem with and that is the menu setup. There is no "Play All" option like season 3 and the menu's themselves look rushed and aren't as crisp and cool as season 1-3 boxsets. Apart from that well worth the money!
