A great RPG for hardcore fans
First of all this game unlike many other RPGs nowadays, isnt as advance as other RPGs in graphics but dont let this put you down, because that is the only thing that is not so good about the graphic, and for many of you who are RPG fans know that a game with great graphics isnt anything, but enough of this, time to start the review.

The gameplay is one of the biggest and strongest points of this game, the gameplay is simple amazing and the battle are in real time, so you have to think twice before making a move. The music and sound effects are perfect are very suited for a game like this, as for the graphics they may not be the best you have seen but it is still a great game. Also there is also a great replay value, this isnt one of those games that you play and put on the shelf, no this game has many things to discover, things that you may have not found at the first time, also there is one secret option that only becomes available after clearing the game the first time.

After all this said, this game is trully a great RPG, a must buy for hardcore RPG fans that don'tbuy RPGs just because of the graphics but because of the story.

Awesome Game
This is a gem of an rpg great character development and a great story is what make this game so brilliant. The story moves at a pace that you control and each time you reach a certain point a smart little animé scene will play to move the story on. Final fantasy 7 is considered one of the best this is not that far behind. Unlike final fantasy where the ending is set in stone and you can't change it Growlanser allows you to have your own ending and epilogue through a nice little feature called the friendship gauge. This feature allows you to work up a friendship with your team mates (like star ocean) and if it is high enough with say a girl you will get a nice little romantic scene with you and her at the end. This makes playing the game again more fun because there are lots of character's with their own endings. Length wise it is not as big as the final fantasy's but it will take a while to finish after collecting armour weapons spells etc and some secret unlocks which i wont spoil. So if you are after a great rpg game to take you mind of the dullness of life give it a try.
