The shortest game I have ever played! Not worth the money!
What can I say, I bought this game on Friday and started the game on the Agent level (the 2nd difficulty level out of 3). I played 2 hours of it Friday night, which was almost a bedding in process of getting used to the buttons, and another 2 hours on Sunday (was not about to play it on Saturday) and I completed it. 4 hours???!!! I could not believe the simplicity of this game, and I was hugely disappointed as to the length. I did not want to play it again, because if it took me 4 hours on my first go, how quickly would I run through it a second time! The game plays well, although its very button bashy, and there is only ever one way to go so you can never get lost. The cinematics were very good and you felt like you were Bourne, but there was no real challenge. It was too repetitive, and not enough to do. If I was you, I would rent it out as you will have it done in a few hours. Do not waste your money buying this game. I am going to take it back and get Alone In The Dark. Im sure this will be a better purchase!
For fans only
Be under no illusion, this is not a classic game by any stretch of the imagination. What we have is a game for fans of the film, (of which I am), and also a game which is an example of style over substance.
Good and bad points below:
Good:
- Excellent graphics and interactive cut scenes, make it very exciting at times and realy re-live the feel of the bourne movies
- Take downs are huge amounts of fun
Bad:
- Aiming whilst shooting is absolutely awful
- Driving level is embarrisingly bad
- Game play can get repetitive
- Its over fairly quickly
As you can no doubt see, the bad outweights the good here, but if you are a fan, the feel of being 'in' the movie is very strong and keeps you wanting to play.
I rented this game out, if I had bought it, I would be upset with the game, so my advice is simply to rent it and enjoy it for what it is.
If I wasn't a fan, I would knock off a star (or two)
Fair do's, made me feel like Matt Daemon
Played this game on Xbox, pretty good game, make you feel like your in the movie but with extra bit thrown in. Graphics are awsome and i like how the cutscenes roll in and out of gameplay, so you never really stop. i would have given this 5 stars but it has annoying things about it... like if you want to kick the enemy you have to hold down the button, so you can't block so you get punched, so you have to hold the button again. And also the shooting gets a little annoying somethimes but once you get used to it, its all good, would stil lhigly recomend it to everybody.
