not a bad game
As a mid thirties something ahem !! i remember the wacky races from television and was mesmorised as a youngster watching the wacky racers all trying to out do each other and get to the finish line the quickest with dastardly and muttley always throwing a spanner in the works to stop them, graphically this game is superb and you feel like your watching the cartoon with zany race commentry from the chap who commented on the cartoon !!! may not be the same chap but sounds like him nonetherless !!!!! you select you racer and then off you go racing over a set of four courses. use the nuncuck to steer and accelerate !!

sadly the winner off each race is determined by a sprint finish as the racers are always close together approacing the finish line and you shake the remote to gain power !!!!! the actual race itself is more of a comedy like the cartoon, you have a few mini games with dastadly trying to stop you and each competitor has their own party trick which you can use whilst racing.

in my view if your looking for a serious racer this game is not it !!! but for nostalgia or a game to play for 30mins sessions and laugh at the wacky racers and commentry this game is worth picking up !!!

Wacky Races
What's the point of a racing game where you can't see where you're going? Still, it doesn't matter if you're rubbish as shaking the Remote near the end of each race will put you in first place. Pointless!

Wii Wacky Races
I was really hoping for a great game from this having enjoyed the cartoons for so many years but was left disappointed. Given that it was on the Wii I thought it would be 3D but instead they have chosen to do it in the same 2D style of the cartoons. It's flat and frustrating, I haven't enjoyed playing it at all. Frustrating because you can't always make out where you are in the melee of cars and it seems incredibly slow to play.
