Customer Reviews

Superb !5
I have heard clips of some of these tracks on his website
and I can safely say that Cortes has surpassed himself !
I thought that the first album was a great debut but
this really takes him to another level !
Look forward to receiving my copy.

A great second album 5
Wonderful title track, as are "Mama" and "Sacrificial Love". Great mix of material, including the Natasha Marsh duet "The Prayer". Deserves to do very well.

It's okay but not great3
I think I must have been drunk when I bought this.

Cortes does have a great voice, there's certainly no arguing with that. When he sings the operatic tracks he gives them everything he's got and that really is a lot of talent but it's the modern tracks that let this album down in my opinion, which is a shame. The modern tracks just don't seem to have any 'ooomph' to them. They never really get going and capture you or sweep you along with them.

Perhaps his other albums are better, where he concentrates on the classical stuff. I hope so for his sake as he does have a very clear and good voice. I won't be bothering to buy more of his albums though.

Sorry Cortes!
