Very good episodes5
The Lovers-A young coupe on there honeymoon in London when the husband mysteriously dissapears. The police consider it a missing persons case until the brides father takes his case to the comander and Walker is called in. When the bride also vanishes in searh of her husband , the evidence of cctvcameras become crucial in a heart stopping race against time and terror. Sins of the father-Young Emily the clever daughter of an apparently happily married couple is found dead in the family hoe, the morning after a night out clubbing. But appearances are deceptive as the police investigation uncovers a house full of secrets and lies. Any one of them coul lead in the true killer and does but will justice be done. Closure-A teenage schoolgirl has been raped and murdered and two months on dci Connor still has no witness, suspect or leads. When Walker orders a look through old cases the team discover three more schoolgirls murdered in similar ways. Connor calls in a criminal profiler to track down what is a serial killer. I hope this helps u decide whether to buy this set or not.

459 mins4
This dvd runs for 459 minutes not 279 so is great value for money in my eyes. Nearly 8 hrs of top drama. One of the grittiest tv shows still being made today.

One for the Basket !!!

Plots aren't up to formerly high standards2
High on scenery chewing, low on character development.
The two leads bounce back and forth between fairly adept and downright dumb, especially in the final episode on this Third Series. It seemed that scenes were indiscriminately inserted, as they turned out to have no relevance and did not move the plot along. They were not even good red herrings.
La Plante usually has characters you come to know, but not lately. It's like they're making up for their new-found deficits by getting over emotional, blaming everybody else for their screw-ups, and seem to get more stupid with every episode. Not at all as they were in earlier episodes.
Maybe it's me, but I always loved this series and am disappointed with this one.
