world war 2 wasnt this much fun..
this has become one of the classic real time strategy games, on a par with may of the classics like Command & Conquer, Total Annihilation and others.
the graphics are small but very detailed and well animated, everything from each soldier to the well animated vehicles and damaged buildings in the game.
if you have played any other real time strategy war game then this game will not be new to you, easy to play and the problem with become not playing it...
this game was somewhat marred by the later release of the 'opposing fronts' addon which upped the hardware requirements and spoilt the performance of the game unless you have top notch hardware..

Still enjoying this game
I've had this game for a while now and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
One thing about this game which I didn't realise until I'd almost finished it, and then only found it by chance, is if you have a fixed position that is using your population cap you can delete it thereby freeing up some population numbers for infantry or the like.(Press the delete key twice)
Remember just because they game says go one way doesn't mean you have to.
For example sometimes you may have to capture a point but if you ignore the point and secure all the ground around it first you'll have an easier time as after you secure the point the game may launch a counterattack on you.
It's always useful to think ahead in this game.
It is a fun game and does take some time to learn so I hope this will help you on your way.

This game does what it says on the tin. It has a great teaching area where you can learn all the ins and outs of the game and can return to refresh any forgotten skills if you have been away from it for some time. Very enjoyable
