Customer Reviews
Excellent Printer
Just purchased from another source, very easy to set up worked out of the box (well had to remove lots of tape)
Blown away by the quality, if it maintains this quality I will be very happy I changed to a laser printer. So far I have used low quality paper with excellent results for text and graphics, I have just purchased some HP Laser Photo paper to try.
Negatives, shame it doesn't have an ethernet or wireless function.
Laser transformation
I bought the Samsung CLP 315 laser printer from Amazon about 9 months ago. It's reliable with good print quality...just what I was looking for.
Previously I had struggled with a number of different inkjets with cartridges and nozzles that seemed to get used up/dry up/block every couple of weeks. I'd then struggle to get them working again using quite a bit of ink and paper in the process. I'd spend a lot of money on printer ink replacement. In comparison this is a dream. The printer prints "right first time" all the time. The print quality is excellent for what I use it for (a mixture of documents/copies of websites..mainly black and white plus some colour). Although the ink cartridges are fairly expensive - they last a long time (I replaced the black ink for the first time a couple of weeks ago). Although I am not convinced it is more expensive than inkjets in practice, if it is, I'd rather spend a bit more on getting this sort of reliability than messing around with inkjets and feeling ripped off when I have to replace a cartridge after two or three weeks. And its foot print is pretty small - it fits easily on a desktop.

Needing another printer on my home network for everyday colour photos and for black and white text, I have been delighted with the quality of this printer, which was bought to take the load off my ageing Epson stylus Photo 1290, now nearing retirement. The quality of colour prints on good grade (non photographic) 100gsm paper has surprised me. And it was so easy to set up!
