Editorial Reviews

CD Description
After three phenomenally successful studio albums with Island records, pop-punk teen sensations-cum-serious artists McFly decide to go it alone and release their fourth album, 'Radio:ACTIVE' on their own Super Records label. As a band constantly striving to make a creative statement taking them beyond their boy band status, this release is something of a lunge into the unknown for the band. Originally released (to much controversy) for free as a supplement to The Mail On Sunday, 'Radio:ACTIVE' receives a more conventional release here with several bonus tracks. Includes the single 'One For The Radio', a song written about the band's endeavour to be regarded more seriously in the press.

Customer Reviews

jiinyus not such a genius!5
to jiinyus and adam reed... you obvious wouldn't know a good album if it slapped you across the chops. i'm 47, yes 47, but if i was 20 again, i would be proud to release an album as good as this. their entire back catalogue is a testament to their skills as songwriters and musicians and this offering is no exception. in 5, or even 10 years time, when all the hype and "boy band" labelling rubbish is just history, this will STILL be a good album. if you like good modern rock music, get it. if you're happy with leona lewis warbling out of your speakers at you like some whitney houston/mariah carey lovechild/clone, then you know what to do.

Amazing album...5
...Well from what I've heard of it, I'm not a mcfly fan, never have been, but I heard that free copy with the mail on sunday, and I'm definatly seeing them in a different way, I will most certainly be buying this album, and I suggest others do to, you should never judge a book by it's cover.

Best McFLY album ever!5
This is definetly the best McFLY album so far. They made a really good decision by "leaving" Universal and launching Super Record. Big step but a great one.

MUST HEAR:Lies, Point Of View (POV), Down Goes Another One, Corrupted and Do Ya.

When you tought that it couldn't get any better... there's the 2-hour dvd and the book with the manuscripted lyrics of all the songs!
