Synopsis
Created by David Mamet (GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, EDMOND), this television drama follows the exploits of a special forces unit, tracing the heroism of its members, as well as their foibles. The team is charged with some of the U.S. military's top secret missions, while their families at home deal with the trials and tribulations of having a loved one with such a unique and dangerous occupation. Dennis Haysbert (24) and Scott Foley (HOUSE, M.D., SCRUBS) co-star. Every episode from the show's third series is included here.

Amazing TV, but too expensive Amazon!!!5

The Unit is amazing. This season however, got cut short from 24 planned episodes to only 11 because of the writers strike! How can you charge us as much, or in this case MORE for a season with less than half the amount of episodes?? Sort it out.

The Unit bites the bullet3
Having been anticipating the return of The Unit I was thoroughly let down by its third season. Left on a cliff hanger of an ending to season 2, 3 picks up the story with fast pace action and lots of fingernail biting moments. However once that snippet is resolved (2 episodes later) it quickly falls into mission to mission moments. It lacks the story line and attention to detail that are evident in shows like Alias and 24. The whole 'Tiffy's affair' is glossed over and not properly explored or extended throughout the story. It's left and then dipped into later, as if the writers have suddenly remembered it. I can't knock the action and there's plenty of it but I doubt I'll be buying it for the dvd collection.

Great show, not enough of it, too expensive!4
What the other person said. Only eleven episodes in this season - less than half the regular slate, so even with Amazon's price reduction this is WAY too expensive. Also, bit dumb to spoiler the major plot point of the season with the cover of the DVD. :(
