Fantastic! I ordered my camera last Friday and was amazed, having chosen super saver delivery when it turned up just after the weekend.

For those looking for something which will give professional results but is reasonably easy to use and carry around, I definitely recommend the FZ28. It's been great so far with impressive clarity when zoomed right up to 18x even in poor light conditions. Colours are good, from muted natural tones to vibrant shades depending on the subject. Produces nice macros with good detail and clarity. An all-round versatile camera which is considerably lightweight and compact considering its powerful zoom.

Practical & great value
I already owned the Pasnasonic DMCFZ18: the only shortcoming was lack of zoom in video mode. The DMCFZ28 has this extra feature as well as a couple of other nifty functions. I felt confident buying the DMCFZ28 in view of my poitive experience of using the DMCFZ18.

The DMCFZ28 camera is compact, light and easy to use. The intelligent auto function is fine for most "point and shoot" situations. It's easy to set up custom modes to suit your own preferences if one of the numerous optional scene modes doesn't suit you. Battery life is great compared to other camers that I've owned. menu functions are, by and large, intuitive.

All in all, a camera that's easy to use, easily customisable, compact (for its type) that produces great quality pictures.

Purchased from Amazon and usual excellent service!The camera is an amazing piece of modern technology and I am getting used to all its features.have taken a lotta photos!! I would recommend the camera especially for a novice as it is very user friendly.The only thing I can not get to work is the hd video to my hd tv using the lumix dmw-hdc2 lead.The tv will not recognise the camera but non hd video works well and downloads through windows movie maker. I like the silver and at this price wow wow! Have two media cards which both work well.Lowerpro bag is excellent but no room for lens hood but must admit dont usually use it.Well a few months later and we are still friends.I have sussed all the cables and the HD Video works fine with excellent results.Tending to use it more than my video camera.The zoom is simply fantastic if only I could sort out how to slow fast flying geese out!!The colours are lovely and the auto setting is the one I use most of the time Im not expert enough yet. Highly delighted and have had stunning photos to boot! Go buy while you can still get one.
