a great bio on a great man
Mr.perfect was one of wrestlings all time greats,his title haul may suggest different,he never won the big one in the WWF but he was a class act,injuries may well have prevented him from being one of the all time greats,he floated from WCW to TNA and WWF for a while after a while but it was during the 80s and 90s where his legend was forged.
The dvd includes a great documentary with insight from friends and family and flows through his career showcasing all that made him what he was,his death is brushed over slightly but i guess it wouldnt be wise to linger on the hows and whys too much,it is moving at times,insightful always and entertaining.The dvd also captures all of his vignettes and that makes this essential.
Disc two features a range of his matches,whether some of them could have been swapped for others is a debate for a different day but you get some real quality encounters all the same,strangely,one of his best matches features and is against bret hart at summerslam 1991,he doesnt win but seldom has a lost match done so much for a man.
Mr.perfect was a great,his induction into the hall of fame in 2007 was justified,this dvd is most certainly justified and is certainly worth purchasing.

One of the true greats ever to step into the ring
WWE have done an amazing job, making this doc a great tribute to Curt Henning, better known to WWE fans as Mr.Perfect. There is alot of archive footage, along with 10 great matches and other WWE stars opinions and story's about Henning. I say this doc is a great tribute because not only do you hear emotional tales from his father, son and wife, but you also get to hear how funny Curt was and he was indeed a true joker at heart. Many of my favourite Mr.Perfect matches are on this two dics box set. There are 3 great bouts with Bret Hart, including the legendry match at summerslam 1991. Also we get to see Perfect get his opportunity to face hogan for the wwe belt, which is also a good match. Overall i would say the matches on this DVD are strong, also along with his NWA days and a great 1hour match with bowinkle. I have many box sets on different wrestlers but this is defiantly my favourite by far. Just because it makes you think about the man as an untouchable character and wrestler.
