CD Description
After signing a record one million pound deal with Universal Music in 2008, The International Staff Band of The Salvation Army take their charity fundraising to a new level. The album sees the ISB perform a selection of secular and religious standards including 'Nessun Dorma' and 'Make Me A ChannelOf Your Peace', creating the perfect soundtrack to a mid-winter's evening.
Customer Reviews
The Salavtion Army Together
A good mixture of religous and popular music. William Booth said "Why should the Devil have all the best tunes"?
Why should he the Band get over their message and it is easy to listen to.
The Salvation Army I belive are making the money not the record company.
My wife said she could listen to it easily and she is not a brass band enthusiast.
Look forward to the next one.
Beautiful and contemprorary sounding Album
This is a beautiful and relaxing album and I love it. It is perfect for these difficult times. It has a contemprorary feel in the production and the choice of songs is just right. This all goes to make it very appealing listening . Great too that the Salvation Army will raise money to help with all the great work they do and especially in helping the homeless.
2nd review
I think this is great. The Salvation Army Band is seen all over the country all year but especially at Christmas. I enjoyed and would recomend this relaxing CD. I hope The Salvation Army raise lots of money with this CD for the good work they do.
