Synopsis
While visiting Alamos Town, Ash and his group of friends discover that the town's renowned garden has been destroyed. The influential Baron Alberto thinks that this is the work of the Pokemon Darkrai. Suddenly, Darkrai appears before them. At the same time, a ferocious battle between Pokemon Dialga and Palkia occurs directly above Alamos Town, threatening to damage the very space-time continuum itself.

this is one of the best pokemon movie i have seen in a long time but plez dont take my word 4 it get it urself

I am a lover of pokemon in every way, except for the movies...
As, i said, i am a lover of everything pokemon, but i think that some of the movies have let the series down.
Not because they're generally bad, but just because i think that they are just a bit dull, and only just add a little more to the amazing series of pokemon, which isn't really needed.
Well, after watching this, i think i may have been turned to thinking that the movies aren't just another small addition to the pokemon franchise, it plays a good role after all.
Firstly, the storline is a lot better than some of the previous movies. The main jist of it is that palkia and dialga have crossed paths in the time and space continuim (what ever you want to call it), and have started trying to destroy each other! (by the way, the were never supposed to meet, in case you were wondering!) This is creating big shifts in the human/ pokemon world and a new main character picks this up using his advanced computer equipment. Then palkia crashes into their world and, while dialga and palkia are fighting just above, the world is being pulled into another dimension, with Ash and the gang along with it! Just before dialga and palkia enter the humans dimension, Darkrai appears, who they all think is bad including Ash and co, because he causes them nightmares, or so ash thinks. He is actually shown a vision of the future, when dialga and palkia are fighting in their world, but he doesn't understand. Next, i'll be brief, so i don't ruin it for you, (sorry if i've given away too much info!) darkrai tries to help stop the fighting and Ash and the gang try to help.
It's a much more imaginative story than some of the other movies, and is presented very well.
The niggles i have is that it's still a pokemon movie, so is not as generally exciting as a Geoge Lucas, or Steven Speilburg, etc, film, but is still good in its own right.

Deep pokemon fans, or just normal pokemon fans will enjoy watching it, but not many others will.
