Saints Row 2 is, by far, the best open world game that Next-Gen has to offer. Volition have out done there selves with the sequel to the game that was knocked up in a few months to cater for the delays of GTA4. Saints Row 2 continues from where the origanal left off in the city of Stilwater (which looks like the city it should, unlike GTA4's Liberty City which has even moved an entire airport. What did you do Rockstar?) with your character waking up from a coma caused by the events that ended the original and even has a few familiar faces like Johnny Gat, Julius and Troy. Prior knowledge to the original is not essential though, as the story has been cleverly produced to cater for anyone unfortunate to have missed out on Saints Row. A lot of ideas were stolen straight from the likes of GTA and Driver, but they were the best ideas to steal. The customisation options are flawless with countless Clothing, Jewellery and Tattoo shops as well as a main character COMPLETELY designed from scratch. It's not just the face though, muscle, fatness, race and even sex can be customised, as well as countless hairstyles, voices, (3 male, 3 female), fighting style and even how your character walks. This game is definately the fun GTA4 was missing. A must for anyone who enjoys 'open-world freedom'.
