Excellent camera5
Advantages: Crystal clear shots. Very slim pocket-size. Easy to use
Disadvantages: I can't stop taking pictures!

What I like about it the most is it has a sliding lens barrier hence I won't have to worry about it getting damaged. Lens that extends from the body often gets stuck; which happened to my last camera and I 'm glad to know it won't happen with the Olympus 1040!

I highly recommend it.

Easy to use5
Recently bought this camera prior to going on holiday. Just returned yesterday and I must admit that we both found this camera easy to use and the picture quality is really good (for us amateurs). I had previously bought a 5 megapixel camera (that was more expensive) but my husband hated it. With this camera I practically have to fight him to get the camera off him.

Best I have ever bought.
