Fitting couldn’t be easier, this really is plug n’ play
Installing your new dual screen DVD player really couldn’t be simpler. The system has been designed for total portability and fitting the system into the car is as easy as opening and closing the door.
Step 1: Attach the screen mount to the headrest using the supplied mount and straps
Step 2: Slot the screen into the mount
Step 3: Press play! What’s more, to prevent any unwanted attention when you’re not in the car the screens can been remove just as easily in a matter of seconds.

Nextbase SDV47AM Twin Screen DVD
Bought this on the strength of previous customer reviews as I did not recognise the NextBase brand. It has not disappointed, can't really fault it although we have only used it in car. Good picture quality, easy to set up and use with a nice long 12v cable to reach wherever you need. Start DVD's where you left off if you have to stop which is a regular compliant against similar machines.
Highly recommended.

Nextbase SDV47AM Twin Screen DVD player
We borrowed a Phillips DVD player (1 screen) from a friend and then subsequently bought this before Christmas for what I understand was about the same price (2 screens). We have used them on journeys from 45 mins to 4 hours and I cannot fault them. They come in their own carry case; are very easy to attach to the headrests with long, adjustable velcro straps; can be operated easily by our 5yr old and also from the front with a remote control; the volume is adequate even on a motorway; and they are very light. Much better than the Phillips system which opened like a laptop and had to hang between the seats. Perfect, would have no hesitation in recommending the Nextbase system.

GOOD, BUT BEWARE.....
I felt I needed to share something about NextBase twin DVDs with potential buyers.

I had a twin screen system, and was happy until one day it suddenly stopped reading DVDs. After some searcing the internet, I found a NextBase technical helpline to ask about advice on correcting the fault.

I received a reply saying that this was what normally happens with these units after use for around 2 years. When I asked about how to repair, I was told to visit their webpage and buy a new one. Ie, what I had was scrap, and had served its product lifecycle.

Not too clever......I'll be buying a new one, but it certainly won't be a Nextbase model.
