A day to remember...5
I have to say I'm a sucker for a good pop song. When I went to see Girls Aloud perform, I had no idea what or who The Saturdays were. I was actually heading to the bar when they started their performance, but the second the first beat of the first song started, I was stopped in my tracks.

They were not polished, the dancing was a little bit sloppy but they were DEFINITELY talented, and sang every word live. I was pleasently surprised to find that two of the girls used to be in S Club Juniors, and was lucky to meet Vanessa after the show, and she was LOVELY in person.

'Is This is Love', the opening track to the album and the debut single, was a top 10 hit, and deservably so, a fine mesh of dance-able pop and catching lines. I was perhaps a little too proud when i saw them enter the charts at number 8.

The second song on the album and consiquently, the second single 'Up' is everything the first single was and more. A pumping, backgroud beat that would have made even the most concerning Kylie fan happy, and catchy chorus that will have you humming it all day.

'Keep Her' is my personal favourite, and hopefully a future single!

'Issues' is one of the ballads on the album, and i wouldn't be surprised if this is also a future single. I also wouldn't be surprised if the writer of this song has penned many other hits, perhaps some for Rihanna or Pussycat Dolls?

The next single is to be 'Work, Work', which is not as amazing as the first singles on first listen,. but is definitely a grower and will hopefully continue their success in the top 10!

Other album features are 'Set me Off' and 'Why me, Why now'.

Im a bit dissapointed that they didn't include 'What am i gonna do', which was a b-side to 'If this is love', but i guess the quality of the rest of the album proves that there is no room for 'fillers', and i can ssure you there is none here.

In absolute joy to listen to from start to finish, this album will cement the girls into the A-grade, and hopefully knock Sugababes off of there tired and un-orginal pedistal. (as an ex-fan, im none to impressed with there new single, which is just a regurgitated cover and not even a good one!)

Amazing Album!5
Pre ordered this on the basis of their 2 singles which are absolutely amazing, so what about the album itself? Absolutely Amazing.

If This Is Love-We all know this or at least have heard it once and it was a great way to start off the album, great first single choice too. (9/10)

Up-Once again we should all know this song somehow, anh amazing second choice single and certainly increases the albums enjoyment. (10/10)

Keep Her-To begin with this song hadn't really got me amazed but after another listen this song has just made me realise how good it was, keeps the high standards set by the previous songs. (9.5/10)

Issues-The first slower song ballad type and it is amazing, standards are still kept and i feel like i'm listening to angels singing. (10/10)

Lies-Back to uptempo songs which is also another amazing tune, keeps standards amazing. (9.5/10)

Work-This song should be the next single, an amazing song which is just so memorable and would do so well in the charts, standards just increased. (10/10)

Chasing Lights-My favourite song on the album, heartfelt and also danceable tune, loved it so much, hope this becomes a single, standards just keep getting better. (10/10)

Set Me Off-A stomping pop tune full with amazing vocals, this certainly kept me interested and I couldn't get enough, hope this becomes a single too, standards are kept high. (10/10)

Fall-Another slow song and still impressive, can't compare it to the fast paced songs but I was loving this song so much. (9.5.10)

Vulnerable-Another favourite of mine, sad and midly fast paced, done quite well and this is becoming most played on my i-pod at the mo. (10/10)

Why Me, Why Now-Great track, standards are really kept well, certainly had me interested but definately a great pop number. (9/10)

Up-Wideboys Remix Edit-Not really needed but a nice little extra which i like quite well, would've much preferred something else though, shame crashing down didn't make it as that would've done a great end to the album, nonetheless still good. (9/10)

So in conclusion, buy the album it is amazing and every song is great and as up says 'this is not the time for doubts, make your decision, are you on or off the line'. So what I say is get on the line and trust me, you won't be sorry.
