Customer Reviews
Enjoyable and intuitive
I rented this game as I have skate 2 on the PS3 and enjoy it. I found the Wii version, whilst not as graphically pleasing, very enjoyable from a control perspective. They make good use of the Wiimote and the balance board option adds another challenge. Whilst I respect the gentleman's comments below I, as a non-skater, found this very enjoyable to play and have subsequently bought the game.
Skate It Review
When I bought Skate It, I had read all of the other eviews currently on here. I was prepared to give some room for the graphics, as it is a Wii, after all, but was slightly concerned about how unlike the other Skates' it could possibly be.
That fear is now gone. Skate It is a hugely fun game, with any controller. As said by my predecessors, the Nunchuk is the best.
Some minor bad points are that you cannot do double kickflips, but the excellent and extended range of grabs makes up for it. The graphics themselves are just normal standard for Wii, do not buy or ignore the game for its graphics. However, definitely buy it, its the best game on Wii at the moment.
So far so good
I bought this for my 13 year old son and he and his friends have been really enjoying it. Its early days yet...they may become bored with it...they usually tire of pretty much everything in the end...but so far my son has told me it's fantastic and that they love playing it. I'm really pleased I bought it.
